Ethan Yatson '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches, my name is Ethan Yatson, a 2021 high school grad and outfielder/ catcher. As a child I have always been interested in the sciences, especially astronomy and space. I remember imagining being an astronaut looking down on the world, what big dreams I had. Now I am interested in aerospace and medicine and majoring in one of these subjects is my collegiate goal. I believe that academics is the number one thing in my life and it is the main thing I focus on. I also hope to play college baseball as baseball is a great game to teach life lessons. One thing my coaches have always told me is your character is put on the line when you go through adversity, which I truly believe in. Another important thing about baseball is being a good teammate. I witnessed this my freshman year, as all the seniors hated each other and we ended playing worse than we should have. After that it has been my goal to make sure that the team is bonding and that we pick each other up at all times. I believe I would make a good recruit because I focus on my academics, work hard at getting better on and off the field every day, and I would be a great teammate and make friends for life.
