Ronnie Forslund '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello. My name is Ronnie Forslund. I am a 2022 high school baseball player. First off, in my life, goals have always had a wall in front of them. A mental or physical blockade that I cannot break through alone. God has delivered me through all the trials in life and without Him, I would have nothing and I would be nothing. One of these goals is playing baseball in college. Going to college has been a dream of mine and it is something I have always set out to accomplish. God has allowed me to better understand the meaning in everything I do, whether it is running that extra mile or finishing that last page on an assignment, He has given me the gift to persevere. 

The thought of playing baseball in college has caused me to work hard on and off the field with a good attitude and a good character. I am a focused, hard working, teachable, disciplined, loyal, and respectful kid with a clear mind that wants to serve the Lord in everything I do. I am always listening and looking to improve my game and my character. You should expect the same wherever I go and whatever I do that is pleasing to the Lord. Apart from baseball, getting good grades has always been important to me. From my years of a God-filled homeschool education to a character-challenging high school career that is still in the making, the Lord has always shown me the purpose of my life.
