Dalton Scolari '18 Recruiting Profile

My goal as a student athlete is to be a positive, hard working person on and off the field.  I would love to play baseball at the collegiate level while receiving a good education at the same time.  I am a team leader and strive always to be a good teammate.  I work hard for my coaches and am quick to learn and take on any role I am given.  I was moved up to the Varsity level as a sophomore and was the starting catcher.  This past season I also played second base, and pitched as well.  Toward the end of the season and during playoffs, I became the starting shortstop after our shortstop had an injury.  I will give 100 percent to whatever opportunity is given to me at any position.  My goal this summer is to increase my weight training, speed and agility and gain some weight. My family and my faith are very important to me. I will continue to be a good student, friend, and teammate always.
