Joseph Marshek '26 Recruiting Profile

I am a freshman in high school starting this 2022 year. My family and I live in a small town in rural Nevada. I got the love for baseball from my mom who played since she was a kid. I started playing at 5 years old and currently still am. I live, sleep and breath baseball. I am eager to learn as much as possible from the sport so I always do my research on it. I would love to play professionally, but I know that’s not always how life works but I’m going to do my best to get as far as I can. I’m very hard working on everything I do. I was showing pigs and goats until baseball started back up where we live so I have the dedication to see things through. Unfortunately I had to stop showing my animals since baseball took/ takes all my time. As I said above we are in a very small town so not all the options are available to us without us having to drive 2 hours each way, but I am working with what I have. I have played shortstop and pitcher since I started playing at 5 years old, these are my normal spots but I do know how to play almost every position and am willing to play where I am needed.
