Austin Beard '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Austin Beard and I pride myself in leading by example both on and off of the field.  I have a team-leader/team-first mentality; I am very coach-able, knowledgeable, and hard-working.  I am dedicated to self-improvement and solid work ethic, as evidenced by a 6-7 days per-week gym regimen.  I believe that establishing and raising goal-levels is a necessity in order for individual growth. 

Academically, I pride myself in my commitment to studies and maintaining a high grade point average.  I graduated in 2016 with a weighted 3.92 GPA while maintaining part-time employment and leading the Reed Raiders baseball team.  I currently attend Folsom Lake Community College in Folsom, CA, where I will play 1B and RHP.  My ultimate goal is to transfer to a Division 1 program, where I can contribute and truly be part of something special.
