Blake Powers '26 Recruiting Profile

          Everyone has a sport or something that is perfectly fit for them and I have been playing baseball since I was 4 years old and instantly fell in love with the game and soon as a glove and ball was put on my hand I never wanted to stop. I’ve played almost every sport but none of them ever stayed with me and I never enjoyed them besides baseball. A little about me, I was born in New York City and have been a diehard fan of the NY Yankees for my whole life. My dream is to one day play for them in the Bronx. I love watching the games whenever I get the chance watching Aaron judge hit 500 foot home runs and watching Gerrit Cole throw and amazing game and watching those games on tv gives me a happiness that nothing else can give. I have an undeniable drive to be a successful baseball player. My dream in life is to pursue a career in the sports world or as a player on a baseball team. I love the game and will work as hard as I can to play in college and at any competitive level. I am open to play anywhere in the US that has a great school, a strong team and where I can contribute and offer the most to the team.
