Kaeden Elmer '24 Recruiting Profile

I love this game, have since the age of 2.  My strong work ethic both on and off the field, has yielded opportunities to be a part of both competitive travel clubs and as a successful player on my high school team.  During my off-season, I diligently train increasing strength and agility; you can find me at the gym or at the "Hitting Barn" in my hometown.  Complimentary to my training, I also am a team member of the varsity indoor track during the winter months.  This allows me to work on speed and offers a different type of team building skills which are applicable to my personal growth.  I am a middle infielder, primary position, second base.   Coaches have leveraged my strong arm, accuracy, and agility to help at short-stop when needed.  This effort awarded me the Defensive Player of the Year for my high school in 2022.  My coaches would describe me as coachable, fast, a leadoff hitter, and they have confidence in me making an important play during key times of the game.  My goal is to continue playing baseball in college and keep working to be the best I can be for all those involved in the game I love.
