Mike Puglisi '13 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5' 10" baseball player, class of 2013 from Central Regional High School in Bayville, NJ.  I weigh 160 pounds.  I have been playing baseball since I was 8 years old. I am currently the starting second baseman for Central Regional  High School Varsity. This is my second year playing varsity ball, last  year I played as a sophomore. Last year my team's record was14-9 and we made it to the seme-finals of the  NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 Tournament.This year currently we are  9-10 and will be playing in the seme-finals of  the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 3 Tournament on 5/29/2012.I also have been playing Club Ball for the last 6 years. I have always tried to lead by example on and off the field. The Club Team I have played for the last three years, at the Varsity level has  finished in 3rd place and made the playoffs every year.  We also played in several Invitational Tournaments and always made it  to the finals.  I played in the Jersey Shore Fall Ball League for the Berkeley Bandits and made the Jersey Shore All-Star Team as a sophomore.  I also received the defensive player of  the year award and was captain in my freshmen year.

I maintain a 4.0 GPA and take all AP and Honor classes, I am a member of THE NATIONAL HONOR SOCIETY  and I am currently ranked in the top ten percent of my class. My goals are to continue my education and to become the best college ball player that I can be. I am looking for a college that has a competitive baseball program and is academically strong.  I also will be looking for a school that can offer some financial help and I feel will be a win win situation for both myself and the college.
