Baseball has been a part of my life since the moment I was able to hold a bat. My dad played baseball all through high school and passed down his passion for the game to my siblings and me. Playing in the recreational league never really challenged me as a player, however, when I got to high school things changed. Working my way onto the Varsity baseball team my freshman year helped instill a type of determination in me to continue pushing towards my goals. That experience taught me not to be complacent with the position I am in and to push to become better as not only a player, but also as a person.
I am looking for a school that will be a good fit for me academically and athletically. When it comes to academics, I want a school that can challenge what I already know and help increase my knowledge in the field of my major, criminal justice. I also want a school that helps shape me into a well-rounded individual that is prepared for life after college. As a three-sport varsity athlete, I understand that teamwork, commitment, and accountability are crucial attributes to possess to be part of a successful program. I believe I have the talent to play baseball at the collegiate level along with the character, work-ethic, and leadership traits to make an immediate positive impact on your program.
