Baseball has been more than just a game for me. It has taught me lessons that extend beyond the diamond. I’ve learned the importance of teamwork, sacrifice, hard work, accountability and resilience. These lessons have helped me not only in the game of baseball but in everyday life. Baseball has taught me the importance of time management and discipline while balancing the importance of academics and good grades with practices and games. Baseball has helped me developed lifelong friendships through the struggles and thrills the game provides. These friendships extend beyond baseball and have taught me the significance of supporting one another and always being accountable and reliable for my teammates and coaches. I hope to continue playing at the next level and continue to benefit from all baseball has to offer.
