Personal Statement
Hello Coach, My name is Marcus White, I am a 6'0 165lb class of 2019 baseball player currently playing at Rowan College at Burlington County. The college schools I would love to attend are very widely ranged, I am looking forward to attend any college that will help further educate me in my preferred field of study, as well as help me grow into a dominant athlete. My main goal when graduating college is that I had the opportunity to become the best baseball player I could be, help me learn more about the game itself, and further prepare myself for the real world. I finished high school with a 3.2GPA and look to increase that greatly in college.
There are many pieces of my game that I still need to work on and I will make sure work is put in to be the best possible ball player I can be. I am extremely competitive in sports! I never play for myself, I play to win. I am extremely cooperative with others as well as teammates I am a very coach-able and teachable ball player as well. I like to listen to what coaches have to say about my game because I know they can help and teach me more about how to become the best player I can be.

- We play AAU baseball and perform at College Showcase games on Campus. This organization is located in Moorestown, New Jersey where we practice and train at the Fieldhouse. In Georgia, in 2017 my sophomore year, I was named to the All tournament team.

- Myself and the rest of my AAU team train twice a week on Tuesdays and Saturdays from December all the way up to the start of the highschool season. We Train for 2 hours and 15 minutes each session. We condition, hit, and field for 45 minutes each

- My first year of Running track began when I was a freshman in high school. I ran the 200 and 400 meter dash. In the 200 meter dash my fastest time of the season was 24.7 seconds and In the 400 meter dash a time of 58.3 seconds

- Throughout my middle school years I played Basketball in the winter. From 6th grade through 8th grade I was my school teams Shooting guard. I was a one of our teams 3 point shooters averaging at least 3 three pointers and 12-20 points per game.
