Hello, my name is Ronald Jack Aron, better known as RJ. I am currently a 16 year old in my sophomore year during the 2017-2018 school year. I am 6'2 and 252 pounds. I have been playing baseball since t-ball at the age of four. Starting at a young age I wanted to follow in my father's footsteps as he was a 13th round draft pick as a pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles. I consider myself a multi-sport, well-rounded athlete, as I am also involved with football, basketball and swimming. Being a multi-sport athlete has helped me develop skills as an athlete because many skills and techniques transfer from one sport to another, and it has also helped me reduce the risk of overuse on my body physically. Even though I am involved in other sports, my heart belongs to baseball.
My goal is to attend college after high school and continue playing baseball. I envision myself getting a good education and growing as an individual both in the academic environment and on the baseball field. At this time I am still deciding on a major that would be a perfect fit for me.
The quote, "The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little something extra" is one that I live by. I am a dedicated athlete. I work at baseball in the off-season; I seek to get help from coaches in the off-season with my pitching and batting. I lift weights and train. I swim competitively in summer mainly to become stronger as pitcher. I will always do a little more than what is expected in hopes to become extraordinary.
