Nick Schlackman '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Nick Schlackman and I am a 2021 Catcher and First Baseman at Mahwah High School in Mahwah, NJ. I've played baseball since I was 6-years-old and have only fallen in love with the sport more and more.  I've played in a variety of leagues with various levels of competition including some of the highest at my age. I have committed to becoming the best player I can be and it shows through my work ethic and leadership both on and off the field. In the classroom, I am even more dedicated. Through middle school, I was always on the High Honor Roll and that has continued through my three years of high school. I have taken a variety of AP and honors courses and each year I have challenged myself more than the previous. I am looking for a college that will challenge me academically and allow me to be able to compete on the baseball field.
