Justin Meyer '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Justin Thomas (JT) Meyer.  I was proudly named after my father, Justin, and my great-grandfather, Thomas.  My teachers call me Justin, but my teammates call me JT.

I have been a baseball player for as long as I could remember.  It was the only sport I felt I could truly be myself.  I am shy by nature, but over the last few years, my coaches have really helped me grow (If that's even possible - I am a 6'3" - 170 lbs shy kid) and mature.   I started my baseball career as a catcher and slowly converted into a pitcher.   I can play any position necessary.  I am working and training with amazing coaches that challenge me to be the best me I can.  My shyness gets the best of me at times, but I know I have them to rely on whenever I need them.

I am uncertain what I want to study in college, but I am excited to begin that journey.  In school, I'm quiet and I work hard.  It was a challenge having to complete the end of 8th grade and all of 9th grade Virtually.  I missed school and the interaction I had with my teachers and friends.   I am glad I have the opportunity now to truly experience high school.

I would be a good candidate for any team because I have great work ethic, I respect and am respected by others, and take pride in what I do.
