Personal Statement

I am a goal oriented and self driven student and athlete. I work very hard both in the classroom and on the baseball diamond. Therefore, my goals are BIG! I want to play collegiate baseball and receive the the best education to further my growth and my career.  I want to be the best version of myself that I can possibly be. I desire to be successful both academically and athletically and experience all that the collegiate environment can offer me.

I live, eat and breathe baseball. When I am on the baseball field, it is my second home and my teammates are my second family. I have loved the game for as long as I can remember. It's in my blood. I know most athletes claim the same, but what makes me different is there is no off season on my watch. I am determined. Baseball is my passion. When most teenagers were off going out, I was training, taking lessons or playing baseball. I never once felt like I was giving up anything because I was doing what I loved. I played on both my Varsity High School team in the Spring for the past three years and played Fall & Summer baseball with my club team for the past five years. I push myself hard to strength train on my off days during these seasons. I am determined to get bigger and stronger, so I have focused on strength training during the past three Winter seasons to help me improve and achieve my goals.

Ultimately, I aspire to be in Division 1 College Baseball because it's the best out there, but I will play at any level in order to further my baseball skills and career.  Being part a college baseball program, requires high expectations, lots of hard work and results and that type of element, is what I want. It forces you to grow, push, and strive to achieve your best potential. I am ready for that challenge.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
