Coming out of Covid I suffered an injury that benched me for the entire fall and early winter of my freshman year. Unfortunately I was unable to play HS soccer and fall baseball. The thought of missing a full season of sports and not being at my best for HS spring baseball motivated me to use the time to focus on my school work and physical therapy.
I was lucky enough to be able to play for my current team Intensity Baseball, run by former Rutgers head coach Joe Litterio. For countless hours I used my PT and winter training to get fully ready for the spring season. This experience taught me how to deal with adversity and the value of personal health, work ethic and how to build confidence. The result has made me come out of it even stronger then before.
