Personal Statement

Ever since I was little, I have been fascinated by the game of baseball. From the crack of the bat to the shouts of the crowd, there is nothing quite like the feeling of stepping onto the diamond to get another chance to play the game I love. As I entered high school, my love for baseball only grew stronger. I put in countless hours of training, practicing, and learning the game, all with the goal of one day playing at the collegiate level. For me, playing baseball in college will represent the culmination of the hard work, dedication, and sacrifices I have made to become the player I am and the realization of my dream. It is a chance to take my game to the next level and compete against some of the best players in the country. But more than that, playing baseball in college is an opportunity to be part of something bigger than myself. It is a chance to represent my school, my team, and my community on a bigger stage. It is a chance to build lifelong friendships and create memories that will last a lifetime. I am confident that I have the talent, drive, and work ethic to succeed at playing baseball at the collegiate level. I work just as hard off the field as I do on the field and my grades reflect that. I am a student who is willing to work very hard to maintain solid grades. I am eager to learn from experienced coaches and teammates, and to push myself to be the best player I can be. I am ready to take on the challenges and opportunities that come with playing college baseball. I am excited to see where this journey takes me, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue my love of the game at the next level.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
