Hello coaches, my name is Miles Nessan, a 5’10, 170 lb. outfielder. I am currently a Junior at Red Bank Catholic in Red Bank, New Jersey. This past Spring season I was the starting centerfielder for our JV baseball team and batted second. This past Fall I was the starting centerfielder on the .9ers Prime Underclass (2026) team.
I started playing baseball (t-ball) when I was five and have been playing it ever since. While I enjoyed playing in my town’s Little League with my friends and representing Hoboken in all star games when I was in Elementary school, it was really in Middle School when things clicked for me and I focused on improving my offensive and defensive baseball skills. Around the same time, in the Fall of 2021, I joined my current travel team, Hustle Baseball Academy (Fairfield, NJ). Through baseball I have learned to be a quiet leader who leads by example and how putting in focused practice pays off in games and my other activities. I have also learned that while individual successes are rewarding, they are nothing compared to having success and winning games as a collective team.
Throughout my years of playing baseball (as well as soccer), I have learned how to balance my academic and athletic responsibilities. From elementary school through 8th Grade I attended a Spanish immersion school. I earned academic honors in Middle School and in 8th Grade I also received the Seal of Biliteracy from the New Jersey Department of Education. During my Freshman and Sophomore years at Red Bank Catholic, I have consistency earned Honor Roll and am currently taking Honors Spanish Language & Literature. In college, I hope to study Finance and continue my exploration of languages.
A goal of mine is to to play baseball for as long as I can at the most competitive level possible. I want to continue to learn how the game is played "the right way" and increase my baseball IQ. For these reasons I want to continue playing in college and am looking to attend a college that will support my athletic, academic and personal interests. Thank you for viewing my profile.
