David Kleiman Bas...Personal Statement
My baseball experience started in kindergarten playing tee-ball. When I was old enough to try out for the town travel team, I got cut. I spent the next two years playing on my town's C team and the next three years on my town's B team. After finally making the A team we participated in the Junior League World Series in Taylor, Michigan, representing the East Region. My Freshman year I got pulled up to the varsity team where we lost in the state sectional final. I started my sophomore year.
Being cut when I was eight years old and working my way up the baseball ranks humbled me and taught me that anything is possible. I learned that any goal is achievable if you set your heart and mind to it.
