2022 SpotlightPersonal Statement
My name is Adam Gross, and I attend Union Catholic Regional High School in Scotch Plains, NJ. I will be graduating in May of 2023. At the age of one, I picked up a baseball and played catch with my aunt. She immediately said, "This one is going to play baseball!" I have played baseball every spring, summer, and fall as far back I can remember.
After losing time to the pandemic, I was able to play part of my sophomore year on the varsity team and am now looking forward to my senior year as a varsity player. I truly want to continue on to play at the college level.
I strive to be a leader on the diamond with my teammate during practices and games. Most of all, I love to learn and improve my game. I always strive to apply what I learn from my coaches and teammates.
My ultimate goal is to attend college or university where I can receive the best education and find success on the diamond with my team.
