School first has always been preached throughout the household since I started school in 1st Grade, and has continued now, that I am a Freshman in High School. It is very important to me and my family that my grades in school are always where they need to be, consistently. Since I play sports it is especially important to me, because without those good grades, I am not able to play the sports I LOVE. My Dad is very strict about this, and I am thankful for that because he pushes me to be great and he wants me to succeed. When I see people helping me and wanting me to succeed, it personally pushes me more to do better in school and sports.
As you can see I love to play sports, it's been my passion since I was a very little kid. Every day after school the first thing I would do is pick up a basketball, or pick up a baseball, or pick up a football, and so many other things. But my point is, I will always put in the hard work to get the job done, whether it is academically or athletically. My height may not show it, but my heart is bigger than anyone else on the diamond. I am always going to try and outperform the man in front of me, and even if there is no one in front of me, I am going to continue to work even harder and get better at anything that I want to. Most people see me by my size, and I feel like my size doesn't mean anything. As long as you believe you can do something, and you put your mind to it, you can achieve your goals in life, in school and especially in sports.
