2020/2022
After being recruited to play baseball at D2 Sussex County Community College I was recruited to play baseball at Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham in Madison NJ.
My current major is Business Administration and I am in my Senior year with a 2022 graduating year. I would love to play Pro baseball, it has always been my goal and dream. I will have an amazing education to fall back on if my dream of Pro ball does not come to fruition.
2018/2020
My college goals are to earn a degree in Exercise Science. I am currently continuing my education and baseball career at Sussex County Community College on an Athletic Scholarship. My high school courses consisted of Honors English IV, Business Law, Principles of Economics, Sports/Entertainment Marketing, Corporate Finance & Investing and Performance Training II and have received my Microsoft Office Specialist Certificate.
I was 1 of 100 top senior high school players chosen to play in the NJSIAA-NJSBCA Senior All Star Games at Diamond Nation, Flemington NJ on June 12, 2018. I played 3B on the Northwest Team, it was an amazing experience and an honor to play with New Jersey's top baseball players.
2018: In my senior high school year I was named WHHS MVP for baseball, I was team captain, I was also awarded my 4 year letter certificate for Varsity, and earned the Warren Hills Baseball "Michael Curto Award" which recognizes a player who demonstrates the 3D4Life Philosophy which stands for dedication, desire, and discipline. I also received the "First Team Award" in the Skylands Conference.
2017: I have played starter Varsity Baseball at Warren Hills Reg HS, Washington, NJ (Skylands Conference, NJSIAA) since my Freshman year, and was elected team Captain in the 2017 season, earned the "Golden Glove Award" . I have also played on the American Legion 18U-(Pyramid Baseball) in the Summer and have played on Travel baseball in the Fall with Diamond Nation in Flemington NJ,
18U Fielder's Choice in Andover NJ
18U Zoned RedHawks Elite in Bridgewater NJ.
Summer 2017: ABA Sussex Storm and Morris Majors League the Sussex Wizards (LeagueLineup.com)
When I was in 8th grade the high school coach (Mr. Quinto) pulled me up to play 3B on the 17U American Legion (Pyramid Baseball) Warren Hills Blue Devils team and we won the title " 2014 American Legion Junior State Championship"
In the Spring of 2016 I earned the "Skyland's Conference All Conference Baseball Team Award"
In the Spring of 2017 I earned the "Skyland's Conference All Conference Baseball 2nd Team Award"
I have played in Perfect Game Tournaments, 2016 18U WWBA Northeast Qualifier, PGBA 18U, 18U College Team Camps, and have attended college baseball clinics at St. John's University NY, Fairleigh Dickinson University NJ, Drew University NJ, Under Armour Camp, and Rutgers University, Monmouth University, and Fairleigh Dickerson, Winter and Summer baseball camps.
Living in Northwest New Jersey the weather makes for a shorter season of outdoor ball so in the winter months I attend a local gym for strength and agility and an indoor baseball trainer which allows me to stay in shape and improve my baseball skills. I also organized and ran the Winter indoor baseball clinic at my high school and coached the Summer Youth baseball clinic.
I am a multi position player (3B, 2B, Catcher, Short Stop). I can basically play anywhere infield and have played every position as requested or needed by the coach.
I have always played up in age, this past summer I played on 2 men's leagues (ABA Ametuer Baseball Association) Sussex Storm, and Morris Majors League the Sussex Wizards.. The challenge was a great experience for me, it taught me a lot and helped me improve my skills at a higher level of play, I faced some really good pitching, I played 3B, SS, 2B and catcher and hit a few homeruns too.
Our team the Sussex Wizards won the 2017 Morris Majors Championship on August 16, 2017. It is a men's wood bat League, the majority of the players are Sophmores in college and older.
The Sunday team that I play on consists of many of the same players from the Wizards team and we also won the 2017 ABA Wood Bat Championship on August 27, 2017.
I played at Diamond Nation on the 17U Super Diamond Jacks, it consists of 5 Tournaments on the weekends and 2 practices during the week.
Baseball has taught me discipline, strategy, focus, decision making, confidence, failing, winning, and what belonging to a team means. These experiences will help me be a better and more successful person throughout my life. Simply put, I love baseball and I truly wish to play at the college level.
I also have a YouTube channel where videos of live games from my Freshman year to present are posted, my channel is 14videoboy.
On November 18, 2017:
I accepted an Athletic Scholarship to play 3rd base starter at Sussex County Community College (D2) in Newton, NJ. Our home field is the Skylands Minor League Stadium in Augusta NJ. I look forward to joining the team in September 2018 and I am thankful to Coach Rom for having faith in me as a serious baseball player. I will be working toward a degree in Exercise Science.
