Baseball has been my outlet from the real life. Since I was 5 it was something that I could take part in and just be myself and be comfortable in my own shoes. Baseball has built my character and who I'am today. It has helped me become smarter on and off the field and has made me the confident person I'am today. I feel like these assets will be important to your team whether on the field or off the field. Baseball has given me outstanding and important qualities like being very disciplined to myself and others that are trying to push me to the next level of my athletic and academic career. I feel that I could bring the missing piece to the puzzle of your team whether catching behind the plate or making the extra effort at first to turn that key double play in a game situation. I always bring a positive attitude to the team, even if were down 14-0 or I'm 0-3 with three strikeout's. The goal in mind at the end of the day is to win, win and win again.
Baseball has been apart of my life for as long as I could remember. Baseball has taught me values and lessons that I won't forget. I've learned over the course of my very short career that if your team doesn't work together or your team doesn't develop chemistry together than it's going to be hard to win ball games. Baseball has also improved my mental state of mind a lot. In baseball your going to fail a lot more than you are going to succeed. In the MLB players averages are 300. that means seven out of the ten at-bats you don't do anything productive. But it's also important to look at if any of those seven at-bats did you learn something from it.For example if you moved a runner over from 2nd to 3rd base I would consider that a successful at-bat.Having that mind set makes me believe I would be a important piece to your baseball club.
In the end as a young baseball player I am looking forward to finding a school that will present me with a well-rounded college experience consisting of a great education and to follow my life long dream of playing baseball at the college level and beyond.
