Dear College Coaches,
As a scholar-athlete, I hope to continue to push myself to achieve the highest levels possible. Thus far I have been fortunate enough to have had success with Baseball on the varsity level. I hope to continue this trend into High School while continuing to be an A & B student. While I know there are many challenges ahead, I hope that through hard work and perseverance I can achieve my goal of playing baseball at a top program.
Freshman year, I played at the HS Freshman team. I was starting short stop and started pitching consistently.
Sophomore year, I played with my HS Varsity team as a Sophomore on a top team in NJ (Memorial-West New York 16-10) ranked 12th in the State in pre-season rankings. I was starting and starting/relief pitcher, finished with a 2-0 record. I have been consistently clocked at 81-84, topping out at 86mph. I also started at 3B/2B/SS when not pitching.
Junior year, I played on the same HS Varsity team that finished 18-9. I started every game either at Short Stop or starting pitching. My record was 6-3, ERA 1.94, 50.1 innings pitched, 14 earned runs, 25 walks allowed, 77 strikeouts. I was 86-87 during the year. Played short stop and batted .338 average, 80 at bats, 21 runs, 27 hits, 8 doubles, 2 triples, 17 RBIs, .476 slugging %, 17 walks, 2 HBP, 17 SO.
Two last years summer/fall I had the chance to play for my town team (WNY Tigers 16U/18U) and also for the New Jersey Falcons coached by Ed Ward. I also played in numerous tournaments such as Diamond Nation, ED "FAA" Ford, NABF World Series and many others with WNY Tigers and the NJ Falcons travel team. Last fall, I played with the Evoshield Canes Northeast 16U and attended the Perfect Game Underclass Showcase 2016 in Fort Myers, Florida and already attended Baseball Heaven in Long Island, NY with many other tournaments around the nation. This past Summer, I attended many tournaments such as Diamond Nation in NJ, Perfect Game WWBA tournament in GA, and Perfect Game BCS in Ft. Myers with the team (Evoshield Canes Northeast). This coming Fall, I'm going to be hitting the gym and as well doing a Velocity Development Program in New Jersey called BioPitch.
Baseball is not only my favorite sport, but it is also my biggest passion. I truly love the game of baseball and I am extremely committed to the game. My ultimate dream is to work hard and continue to play baseball at the highest level possible. At the conclusion, my athletic goals are to play on a college team, wherever it may be, and to be the best person/student/player on and off the field.
