One of my dreams is to play collegiate baseball at the highest level I can achieve, while remaining dedicated and working as hard as I possibly can. What makes me a wonderful candidate for collegiate baseball is my dedication and follow through. As a result, I have received both honor roll and student of the month recognition for every marking period since elementary school. I’ve been the class representative for Student Council and Math Club participant, who has a strong desire to pursue higher education in the field of business management. In addition, I am a strong leader as the captain of my middle school baseball team whose focus is to not only to personally improve, but help my teammates reach the height of their potential. What makes me different from other recruits is that I am self-motivated to put in the work on and off the field, with the willingness to accept corrective criticism. In addition to being a baseball player, I am a first-degree Black Belt in karate, who has been studying since I was seven years-old. This experience has enhanced my athletic abilities, making me a disciplined self-starter with excellent strategic thought and execution of skills. Winning the grand championship for weapons was one of my most proud accomplishments to date. Whether it is studying for a test, going to the gym, taking batting practice or working on things that I have to improve upon, I go the extra mile. I am the person who shows up to practice early and leaves late for extra work. I want to be the best that I can be in both academics and baseball.
