Matthew Board '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Matthew Board and I am passionate about baseball. I am interested in playing baseball collegiately. I am looking at schools within the Southwest United States but am open to anywhere. I am a pitcher with electric stuff. My best pitches include four seam fastball, change-up, curveball, and cutter. I am presently sitting 83-86mph and I recently topped out at 90mph (documented at Five Tool Tournament on 7/1/23). With my daily dedication to Driveline, and meticulous pitching mechanical adjustments, I hope to increase my top veloby the end of my senior high school season in spring of 2024. I will be obtaining my spin rates soon! I am very coachable and a team player. As a longtime catcher (I still catch bullpens), I know this game really well (I even umpire on weekends). I am presently playing with the High Desert (HD) 2024 and coach Sam Wilson (505) 410-6453.
