Personal Statement

I was 6 years old the day I stepped in between the chalk lines for my first baseball practice. It was then, that baseball was the game I fell in love with. Ever since then I had known that my dream was to play at the highest level possible.

Every time that I step onto the field, I am committed to playing as hard as I can and try to play every game as though it is my last. Competing with others at a high level gives me the thrill to keep playing the game and to push my limits even higher.

I am a very versatile player and am willing to do whatever it takes to help the team. Whether it is playing a position that needs to be filled or sacrificing my at-bat to lay down a bunt to move the runner over, I am the first to do it.

I always encourage my teammates to be the best that they can be and bring a positive attitude to the field every game. I was made captain of my Travel Baseball Team two years in a row (U12 & U13) because of my ability to keep my teammates focused and to motivate them after a bad play or a mistake. As baseball is a game of adjustments, I am a very quick learner and very coachable. I can take criticism and build off of my mistakes.

While fulfilling my dream of becoming a professional baseball player, I manage to maintain a steady GPA of 98. Every day I strive to become better on the field and in the classroom.

I am looking forward to finding a school that will allow me to have a well-rounded college experience consisting of a great education, with a Physical Therapy / Athletic Trainer major, and to follow my lifelong dream of playing baseball at the college level.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
