Connor Elliot '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Connor Elliot and what would make me a great addition to your school and team is that I'm an excellent teammate and put academics first.  When I'm on the field my intention is to continuously learn to better myself just as I do in the classroom, I strive to become the one percent better every time I practice.  I put my team ahead of everything else when I'm on the field, because if you have the right atmosphere and culture in the dugout and the locker room everything will come together on the field.  In the class room studies come before everything else, my father tells me that my education is more important than anything because you have to have plan for when sports are over.  My father told me that one way or another you are told the game is over for you, whether your young or old you have to be prepared for a career after baseball.  He played with a couple of guys that were drafted and didn't make it very long in the minor leagues and they didn't have a degree to fall back on or a profession other than baseball.  And he doesn't want that for me, that is why I will not only give the team 100% but my studies will get the same from me.
