September 2016Personal Statement
My name is William C. Porter II and I am a student athlete at Irondequoit High School located in Irondequoit, New York. I will be a 2018 graduate and I have a strong desire to play competitive baseball at the highest level beyond high school. I am a multi-sport varsity athlete whom plays football, basketball and football. My current gpa is 3.3. My current height is 5'10 and weigh 155. I currently play outfield (center field) and am a double threat on the field because of my speed in the outfield and on the base paths. My 2016 school baseball season was great because I was able to hold down a strong .420 batting average and a .613 on base percentage. I am a hardworking, unselfish team player who is very coachable and motivated.
My ultimate goal is to attend a great college that not only challenges me academically, but also as an athlete.
