Chris Jones '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Chris Jones. I go to Enka High school in Candler, North Carolina. I am 5'10", weigh 200 pounds and run a 7.0 sixty. I have led most of my past teams in B.A., home runs, and RBI's. I have several  accomplishmentsthat I am proud of.  My most cherished is winning the North Carolina Wendy's High School Heisman Award.  My next best accomplishment was attending the 2010 International Power Showcase, and I had an amazing experience. I am always honored by starting my high school varsity baseball team as a freshman, sophomore, junior & now a senior.   The value I can add to a team is the drive to do things the right way and not taking the easy way out. Most of the time the easy way is not the right way. I am open to go to college in any region of the nation. I would like to stay in the southeast near North Carolina, but if the opportunity arises, then I would love to travel far away. I am open to many types of schools, but a large university would be nice and a good academic program is a necessity.  My desired major is narrowed down to mathematics, science/chemistry, or medical. My goals for athletics are to play baseball for a university while maintaining high academics. I would like to play at the right level that suits me, whether it be at a DIII university or a DI university.   My family will qualify for financial aid when we apply for the FAFSA.
