Nicholas Merriman '21 Recruiting Profile

All my life it has been a goal of mine to play college baseball.  Every day I try to live out that goal whether it is what I work on relating to baseball or how I conduct myself not only on, but off the baseball field as well.  This spring I was a part of a North Carolina State Championship team.  I have the grit, determination, and confidence to challenge every batter that faces me and to be a challenge for every pitcher I face.  I am a great candidate for a college team because I bring the energy and positivity, along with the drive and hard work that not only helps me but encourages and helps others around me.  I am a very selfless person as well.  I am always willing to do what is needed of me for my team to win.   My academics are also stellar.  Currently I have a 4.1 weighted GPA and have taken many honors and AP classes throughout high school to go along with my strong academics.  Ultimately I love the game of baseball and will always have the drive and determination to get better every day and challenge every batter I face.
