I have loved the game of baseball for as long as I can remember. After rec ball I started playing travel ball when I was nine, and since then I’ve been lucky enough to be able to play for the same travel team for eight years. That has helped me become a leader and taught me to not only improve myself but how to improve my teammates as well. Having an older brother who has always pushed me has made me very competitive and helped me develop confidence no matter the situation. He has always been bigger and stronger than me, which made me even more motivated to better myself so I could compete with him. He helped prepare me to play varsity my freshman year by giving me that confidence and motivation to compete at higher levels. Additionally, I am a very competitive person; not only on the field but also in the classroom. I pride myself on my academics. While I search for a college that fits me athletically, I also need to fit academically.
