My dedication to baseball and commitment in the classroom will drive me to become a valued member of any collegiate baseball program. I maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.75+ while training 20-hours per week to contribute to my high school baseball team.
Academically, my goal is to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics / Statistics and minor in Spanish language studies.
Athletically, I welcome the challenges of training at the highest level to earn a roster spot in a competitive program and compete for a National Championship..
My high school classes consist of challenging AP and Honors classes to help me prepare for the demands of the college classroom. My 20-hour per week athletic training program consists of speed, strength, flexibility training while working on baseball specific hitting, catching and fielding skills and maintaining a balanced diet. My off-season training coach is Frank Desico (440-954-1562), former University of Notre Dame Captain. I am confident my off-season training helps me to quickly recognize areas of improvement, enabling me to understand the demands of the game and make adjustments necessary to play at the highest level.
Outside of the classroom and baseball field I am involved with non-profit organizations that help kids living with cancer, work with mentally challenged classmates, have been recognized by high school faculty and staff for my attitude and leadership at school, and am a contributing writer for an online sports journal (www.boneheadpicks.com).
I am excited to pursue playing collegiate baseball within a highly competitive program and will dedicate myself to become a leader on and off the field.
