“Cahill, you are taking the bump on Tuesday. We need your best stuff, bring the heat! We win this one, we win the division.” - My name is Riley Cahill and these are the words I hear in my dreams.
I will graduate in 2023 from Oakwood High School in Oakwood, OH. I am an RHP/MIF at 6’0”and 195 pounds with a top fastball of 88mph. My top 3 pitchers are Fastball, Slider, and Changeup. I have a strong academic background with a 3.8 GPA.
I have also played basketball, soccer, and football. I have worked hard to be the best at every sport I play. During summers, I have played up an age level since I was 11yrs old, most recently on the Dayton Classics 16U team, as a go to pitcher. During the offseason I have worked on gaining size, technique, and explosive force while maintaining a focus on arm care. As a Sophomore I secured a position as a starting pitcher for my high school varsity team. I chart my workouts as I believe it is important to know where you are and have a plan on where you want to go.
I want to attend a top-tier academic university that has an outstanding baseball program. My goal has always been to play baseball in college and at the highest level of competition. I strive to be an impact player, always looking at how to help my team win. What I can offer your team is a player who brings positive attitude, determination, grit, and hustle. You will get a student-athlete with academic drive and baseball knowledge, who understands sacrifice and hard work. I have a strong work ethic in both academics and athletics.
