As I grew up I found most of the teams I was playing on weren't accomplishing what I wanted, to win.  I crave competition always looking to be the best out on the field as well as off of the field.  I found patience going through the process of finding the right team, working on not only getting better at baseball, but becoming a better teammate, and trying to be a role model.  I knew I wanted to play baseball when I figured out how much fun competing was in this sport.  It drives me to work harder, and improve on not only myself but my team as a whole too.  I would prefer to go to a college who will support my academic and athletic needs throughout college.  A goal of mine to maintain in high school as well as college is to stay above a 3.5 GPA.  Coming to this point, I have worked hard to adjust to my growing body and develop my abilities.  I struggled for a while to overcome this, but eventually prevailed.  I continue to work on getting stronger and faster.  Some of the unique characteristics or strengths I possess are work ethic, not giving up, and communication.  I won't stop at a task until I go beyond the requirements and will never doubt myself or give up on my team.  I feel I have excellent communication skills and I will ask questions when needed.  Also, I know how to deal with intense situations, be respectful and mindful of others.  I think I can have a very positive impact on your program and bring many new and exciting things to the table.
