Playing in college has always been a dream since I was young. However when I came into high school a lot of guys were bigger and threw and hit harder than I. My goal since I was 8u select ball was always being on the field no matter what the circumstances. Whether it is playing a position that I haven't played or working even harder on a specific part of my game that is holding me back. But what is common in past teammates is guys who want to be on the field and don't care who they step on to get to that, and results in being bad teammates. I, however, am not that guy, though I want to be on the field everyday what I want more is to win. This starts with my attitude everyday in where I never let anything get me down, after a horrific start this year, instead of going in the duggout and slamming equipment and pouting, I was behind my team. My positive attitude is my greatest attribute not only in sports, but in my character in life and I thank my loving parents for that. From teaching this into my actions toward others and when they were my t-ball coaches they taught me to keep that positive winning attitude in every game. One of my favorite quotes from them was "The funny thing about baseball is one day you are stuck on the losing end but don't be upset because you get to go back at it tomorrow and it may be a win."
