I have played baseball my whole life. The first time I ever played, as a 6 or 7 year old, I knew right away I wanted to be a catcher. Ever since, I've been completely self-motivated to put in many hours of practice every day, often getting up as early as 5 a.m. and going to non mandatory practices, pushing myself to be as good as I can possibly be.
I don't let baseball take over so much that I struggle in school or life though. I am an A+ student and think that education is super important. Also, I work a job and have bought and pay the insurance on my own car. On top of that I have landed several art commission jobs. My clients have all been very happy with the results. All of this shows that I have the dedication, drive, and time management abilities that it takes to play baseball at the college level.
