My goal for college is to become the best nurse that I can become. I enjoy helping people and want to be able to provide care and comfort to those who are in need. I would like to attend a college that will help me become a more rounded individual and provide me with new opportunities in life.
One of the most important aspects of the game of baseball is teamwork. Being a part of a team is something that I am very familiar with as I have played team sports since I was in kindergarten. I have been playing baseball since I was 5 years old. I have a passion for baseball and even in the off seasons, I work hard to improve my game so that I can be an asset to my fellow teammates. I played fall baseball for three years and the last year I played I was selected as an all-star and played in all-star games at Adrian College and Miami University (Ohio). This next summer I will be playing in my third year of club baseball with the Locos Express U17 team. In the spring of 2016, as a sophomore in high school, I was honored to be chosen 1st team PCL (Putnam County League) and receive the MVP award of my varsity team. Finally, I have played basketball since I was in fourth grade and soccer since I was in first grade. Sports has been a big part of my life, however, playing baseball in college has been a dream of mine for several years. Whether on the field or on the court, I work hard to encourage my teammates to become better athletes and better people.
On the field, I plan to be a dynamic player and positive influence on the team. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my college baseball career, I will strive to be an asset to the infield and batting lineup. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honor and respect on and off the field, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
