Ryan Thompson '22 Recruiting Profile

My college goals are to play baseball at the top level in the country.  I work hard on and off the field and I hustle giving 100% every time I am on the field.  On my own I hit, take pitching lessons, watch film to improve my game.  I lift and do conditioning/sprints both with the football team and on my own.  I attend Parisi Speed School training in the offseason to keep fitness level up.

Last year my batting average was .500 and had 32 stolen bases.  I was selected for the Varsity team this year as a sophomore.  I play third base, the hot corner, as well as pitcher.

In the classroom I am doing well with a 3.0 GPA.  My goal is to continue increasing this.

I am looking for a solid academic program and also the opportunity to advance my level of baseball.  I am looking for a program that takes the game seriously but at the same time has the same love of the game that I do.
