My name is Nathan Lykins, I am a class of 2028, left-handed pitcher from Shelby, Ohio. I am fueled by a purpose that drives the love of the game. My journey in baseball reflects my unwavering commitment to excellence. I have loved playing baseball since I was big enough to grip a ball. In baseball I have learned (and am still learning) that failure is expected, but lessons can always be learned in difficult or upsetting situations, and I pride myself on keeping the long-term goals at the forefront of everything I do. In addition to baseball, I play Football, Basketball, and Ice-Hockey competitively. I love to compete at the highest level in all sports, however all other sports faint in comparison to baseball.
I am enthusiastic about the prospect of joining a college baseball program where I can continue to grow as an athlete and as a person. Rooted in my faith in God, and my dedication to academic excellence, I approach the challenges and triumphs that lie ahead with a deep sense of purpose. This faith serves as a foundation for my resilience and the values that define me as an individual. I look forward to embracing the opportunities for growth and contributing my skills to a collegiate team that suits me both academically and athletically. Excited about the journey ahead, I am eager to make a positive impact not just as a player but as a person guided by faith and committed to the pursuit of excellence.
