My goal first and foremost is to get a good college education. A close second is playing collegiate level baseball. I love baseball and I want to be able to continue my playing career for as long as possible. What makes me a good candidate is that I'm always willing to put in work. This is evident by my 40 pound weight loss over the winter months in preparation for a very important season of baseball. I have always been told that I am very coachable and apply lessons learned into my game. In regards to character, when I was 12 years old, I was diagnosed with Tourettes syndrome. It was definitely a struggle at first, with all the stares and questions I would get, but having to overcome this has made me stronger as a person. When you have this disorder, you cannot afford to be unconfident and this trait has helped me in all aspects of my life. As for academics, I currently have a 3.7 GPA overall and I am waiting on results for both my SAT and ACT. I am hoping to improve my GPA during my senior year.
