Ethan Shahan '22 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I was young , my parents have instilled values of discipline, consistency, hard work and success. Whether it is through the Lord, school or sports, you will always see these core values on display. 

I have four main priorities in life: Faith, Family, School and Baseball. In that order too. I have been blessed with two outstanding parents that have shown unconditional support and sacrifice to help me achieve my dreams. They have put me in a position where anything I achieve entirely depends on how much I work for it. Academics wise, I have always made sure that my grades are a top priority. I want to earn a degree in computer science while minoring in business. Eventually, I would like to start a business of my own and become an entrepreneur like my father. 

 When it comes to athletics, I have tried pretty much any sport you can think of; but the one that has stuck with me over the past 12 years is baseball. I have developed a love for the game like no other. It has really shown over the past few years. I am constantly in the weight room and working on my game. I have sacrificed nearly all my free time because of how dedicated I am to becoming the best player I can possibly be. On the baseball field,  I want to be starting infielder or pitcher at a top-tier college. I want to play baseball for as long as I am able, and I am willing to do anything to get there.
