I have wanted to play baseball at the college level for as long as I can remember. I started playing on tournament teams at the age of 9 and have continued to do so throughout my baseball career. In addition, I have obtained and worked with a pitching coach for the last 3 years. Last fall I started working with a personal trainer in order to build up my core strength. I believe all of this has helped me get to where I am today and is a testament to both my work ethic and my desire to do what it takes to reach my goal of playing baseball at the college level. Although I had some difficulty in a foreign language class my freshman and sophomore years, I have worked hard in the classroom and expect my grade point average to continue to rise over the next two years.
