Clinton Horn '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Clinton Horn.  I am a catcher at Carnegie High School in Carnegie, OK.  I am 6'0" and weigh 245 lbs. Im a big guy that can get the job done behind the plate.  I have been a catcher and power hitter all throughout my baseball career, from peewees to high school to legion ball. I received the Shortgrass All Conference award my Junior year and have received the Gold Glove award for my team in both Sophomore and Junior years. I started varsity as a freshman and have started ever since. The small town of Carnegie has never been considered as a "baseball" school. In the past two years my class has taken baseball to a higher level. We won our district for the first time in 25 years in 2010 and repeated in 2011, but were cut short of making the State tournament both times. We are going to work hard so that you see our team picture in the Class A State progam next year in 2012. I am an outstanding leader and I have always gotten along with any of the players.  I have good communication skills with pitchers, I know alot about my position as catcher and I am always willing to learn more.I feel I would be a great asset for your school.  I have always batted clean-up and consider myself to be a clutch hitter. I am a captain on my high school team and I am an extremely hard worker. I am always at the field or indoor facility, working on my mechanics. I have dreamed of playing college baseball ever since i was a little boy.  I would like to attend a college fairly close to my hometown and I am open to a wide variety of schools. My realistic athletic goal would to be able to play at the highest level of competition possible and travel all over the nation doing it. Thank you for taking time to look at my profile.
