I’m very motivated to better myself athletically and academically. I've only played baseball since Spring of 2021, but have fallen in love with the sport. Since, we have such a small team I’m a versatile player and can play almost all positions. The main positions I play are Pitcher, Catcher, 3rd base, Centerfield, and Shortstop. I put my all into athletics and academics and am always open to learn more. I was voted captain of the baseball team by my teammates this year and hope I am able to lead my team not just to wins but to grow on the field. I’m honored to be given the position. I am adopted and spent 7 years in foster care before my adoption. My bio-parents made really bad choices that affected me academically as well as in other aspects of my life. I’ve always thrown myself into sports to get through the tough times. I was 2 grade levels behind in school when I was placed with my adoptive parents in foster care. Through hard work and perseverance I tested and was able to move up a grade. I work hard everyday to prove I deserve to have moved up a grade and to prove I deserve the opportunities I am given, both academically and athletically.
