Jonathan Thibodeau '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jonathan Thibodeau, I am catcher with the Ontario Royals who works very hard on and off the field and plays with a lot of intensity. On and off the field I lead by example. When I am behind the plate I am a leader by providing direction to my teammates. My effort to put in additional work on and off the field on a weekly basis shows my commitment to being the best I can be to help my team. I am a line drive hitter who can hit the ball to all areas of the field. I am also very patient at the plate and have had comments made about being a tough out at the plate.

What I can offer to a team is a player that will provide constant leadership, who is motivated to improving their game and working hard each day. I am a very coachable player and enjoy learning more about the game of baseball to become a better player. My goal is to come in as a freshman and challenge for a starting position. I am committed to developing my skills and trying to achieve my goals.

It is very important to me to obtain a good education to be able to further myself in life and play competitive baseball at the same time. I am committed on working hard on a daily basis to achieve this goal.
