2019 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I am a dedicated student athlete entering Gr 11 academic studies. I work weekly with a tutor in order to help me reach my academic goals. I have decided to stop playing hockey in order to focus on school and baseball. I spent the past 2 summers working my first full time job at the golf course. I started at 530 am every morning on the grounds crew. I enjoyed the challenge and took much pride in my work.
Because of the climate where I live, I must spend a great deal of time training indoors thru the winter. During summer and winter in addition to my teams training sessions, I work out with a retired professional ball player in order to work on my strength and development.
I enjoy volunteering by helping younger children on the ice and at the ball diamond. In addition to athletics, I play the bagpipes, enjoy fishing and riding my ATV.
My hope is to one day combine my love of baseball with schooling and play for an American college team.
