I have grown up playing multiple sports including hockey, lacrosse, volleyball and baseball. I have always had a love of all sports but especially baseball and hockey and have played both at high levels here in Ontario. I have just recently decided that baseball is the sport that I need to focus my efforts on in order to play at the college level. I have been fortunate to have played on my high school varsity team even as a freshman and sophomore and we qualified for OFSAA (Ontario Championships) both years. I have learned the value of teamwork, commitment and leadership and am honored to have been named as one of the team captains for my upcoming Junior year.
I have had the opportunity to play on an 18U Club team this year and have had the chance to play with and against players older than myself. This has taught me determination and have worked my way to being a starter in the infield and the regular lead off batter. I am looking for a program that will be a good fit athletically and academically as I am proud to have been on the honor role during my first 2 years of high school. I believe that I not only have the talent but also the leadership skills and work ethic to make an immediate impact on your program. As a multi-sport athlete I know that I have what it takes to be a valuable member of your team.
