I am an 18 year old, Grade 13 student from Dorchester Ontario Canada. I am an accomplished athlete, having played many sports since I was 4yrs old, but am most passionate about baseball and my goal to play at the college level. While attending college, I hope to pursue a degree that is health centric, Kinesiology, or Sports Management in nature.
My teachers would say I'm a quiet, attentive student, who is always in class and ready to learn. My coaches would say I am a competitive, and coachable player; a great teammate; and a tough out. I have worked really hard to understand the value of performing consistently well throughout the season, and to be relied upon in big games. I want to be involved in those big games so I understand that coaches need to see the work, and build the trust leading up to those big moments. I work hard in the off-season and take my training seriously. I also believe that overall health, and arm-care can be game-changers for baseball athletes. I've made proper nutrition, warm-ups, and warm-down with recovery time a priority in my training. This has kept me healthy, and injury-free over my entire baseball career.
I've been very lucky to be surrounded by great players as I've grown up through the Ontario Baseball Association. When asked what sets me apart from other players I would have to say it's my mental game. My coaches, teammates and even some opponents over the years have commended me on my cool presence on the diamond. I'm not sure how I developed this skill (if I'm being totally honest), but I have come to recognize how important it is in baseball. I just don't get flustered. I have been tested. Playing in numerous league & tournament finals, 7 OBA Championship finals (winning 4 of them), 1 Ontario Summer Games Championship (Gold), 1 National Championship (Bronze), I feel I have the experience needed to positively contribute to a collegiate program, and play at the next level. Lastly, I’ve recently made a switch to the CPBL, where I will be competing with and against the top baseball players in the Province. This is an exciting new challenge for me, and I’m looking forward to knocking it out of the park!
