Core and strength training with baseball specific exercises to help build strength to preform better on the field physically and mentally as well. October 15, 2021 I've had the pleasure and opportunity of training Sam for the past few years. Every time Sam enters into the gym he gives maximum effort and is extremely focused. Over the years, I've noticed his strength, agility and explosiveness has tremendously improved. Sam's passion for the game of baseball is unmatched and he's determined to be the best version of himself daily. I truly enjoy training and working with Sam because of his mentality and concentration on every task. Sam will ask questions for clarity to be exact in what is asked of him during training and always has a positive attitude. Each time Sam walks in the gym to train you see his fearlessness and dedication to his craft. Sam optimizes every opportunity to get better and work's himself to exhaustion on every rep. I'm honoured to be able to write a recommendation about an athlete that exemplifies hard work, dedication and a passion for greatness! 1 on 1 with a coach to help fine tune the mechanics of both pitching and hitting. Arm care routines to do at the facility and at home as well. PEAK PERFORMANCE ATHLETICS Sam Rambajan came to PPA Hithouse as a hitter that made hard contact and delivered line drives to the pull side of the field. As a pitcher, he had a strong fastball but needed more consistency with location and execution of his slider, changeup and splitter for strikes. After working with Sam over the course of the year, he has become a more consistent hitter in the box by using his balanced swing to hit line drives to all parts of the field while still maintaining his power to the pull side. He is able to recognize pitches earlier by maintaining a slow and more fluid load towards contact. Sam has progressed into a more polished right handed pitcher that can throw his live fastball on all corners of the plate and deliver his off-speed pitches in the lower part of the strike zone to keep hitters off balance. His tremendous work ethic and determination will allow him to continue to progress to higher levels of baseball development in years to come.
